  • 1 3 oz. Package Instant Ramen Pick Your Favorite
  • 2 C Water
  • 1 C Milk Whole Milk Recommended, but 2% Works
  • 1 3/4 Oz. Slice Cheese Try American, Cheddar or Monterey Jack
  • Salt to Taste
  • Garnishes See Notes Below

Instructions
 

  • Add the water to a pot and heat to boiling.
    2 C Water
  • Add the ramen noodles (don't add the spice packet, but you can add any meat/vegetables that need to be reconstituted). Boil per the package directions (usually 3 minutes)
    1 3 oz. Package Instant Ramen, 1 C Milk
  • Once boiled, drain the water from the noodles (and any meat/vegetables). Reduce the heat to medium and add the milk and seasoning packet. Heat, stirring occasionally, until the milk starts to steam and barely begins to bubble. Take care not to scald the milk.
  • Cut the heat to low and add the cheese in small pieces. Stir the soup until the cheese is thoroughly melted.
    1 3/4 Oz. Slice Cheese
  • Test the soup for salt (usually not needed), top with your garnishes, and enjoy!
