- 3 Lbs Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast
- 16 Oz. Cream Cheese
- 6 Oz. Bacon 6-7 Slices
- 1 C Grated Cheddar Cheese About 4 Oz., Plus More for Topping
- 2 Oz. Ranch Dressing Mix 2 Packets
- 4-6 Cloves Garlic Optional
- 3 Green Onions (Scallions) Sliced
Add the chicken, (optional) garlic and cream cheese to a slow cooker and sprinkle with the ranch dressing mix. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours, or low for 8 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.

While the chicken cooks, cook and chop the bacon into bacon bits.

When the chicken has finished cooking, you can either shred it in the pot (with two large forks or a shredding tool), or pull it onto a cutting board, chop it, and then mix it back in with the cream cheese in the slow cooker. The choice is yours, depending on what texture you like. Top the chicken mixture with the bacon and cheese and cook it on high for another 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
1 C Grated Cheddar Cheese
Top with green onions and enjoy! This dish is great served hot in a hamburger bun with extra cheddar, or on top of crackers. You can also serve it with rice or mashed potatoes. Or try it chilled the next day in a wrap, sandwich or anywhere else you would put a savory chicken salad.
