1/3 C Bacon Bits, 2 Green Onions
Once the cream cheese is brought to room temperature, and the bacon bits are ready, add all the ingredients to a bowl, reserving a small portion of bacon, green onion and grated cheese for a garnish.

Using a strong fork, combine all the ingredients until well mixed.
Chill the dip at least an hour in the refrigerator before serving. Top with the garnishes and serve with a side of sturdy chips, crackers and/or fresh vegetables.
This dip is as close to perfect as it gets, but feel free to make it your own.
If it is too salty for your taste, add a few Tbsp more sour cream, or cut the ranch mix by a quarter.
If you want a little spice, add a tsp or black pepper or cayenne powder.
If you want a little more zest, add 1/2 tsp each of garlic powder and onion powder.Â
