Jambon Beurre (France)

- 1 18 Inch Baguette Or Similar French Bread
- 6 Tbsp French or European Style Butter Unsalted, Room Temperature
- 9 Oz. Parisian Ham Or Other Ham of Your Choice, Thinly Sliced
- Sliced Cornichons (Optional)
- Salt to Taste (Optional)
Make sure your butter is room temperature. You want to be able to spread it.
6 Tbsp French or European Style Butter
Toast your baguette if you would like. Be sure to let it cool to room temperature if you do.
1 18 Inch Baguette
Cut the baguette into three pieces. Slice each piece down the center to create two halves of a sandwich.
Butter each sandwich half with 1 Tbsp of butter for each piece.
Add 3 oz. of ham to one side of each sandwich, along with the (optional) cornichons. Add (optional) salt to taste as well. Top everything with the other piece of bread.
9 Oz. Parisian Ham
