Salt and Pepper to Taste
This basic taco meat is great for Tex-Mex tacos. You may also try spreading it a bit further by adding some diced onion, bell peppers, tomatoes or beans. Make sure to add some extra spices if you do.
A similar recipe, which adds more ingredients to the meat, is Picadillo. Mexican Picadillo adds potato and tomato, and Cuban Picadillo adds olives and raisins. Give them a try!
Pro tip: Use the spices in this recipe as a seasoning mix to make anything taco flavored.
