Equipment

  • Normal Kitchen Utensils

Ingredients

  • 10-12 Oz. Canned Tuna (In Water)
  • 1 Stalk Celery Including any leaves if they look good
  • 1/4 C Mayonnaise Plus more to taste
  • 2 Tbsp Minced Onion Red, white or yellow
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Pickle or Relish (Sweet or sour)
  • 1/4 tsp Salt Plus more to taste
  • 2 Pinches Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Squeeze Lemon (Optional)

Instructions

  • Dice the celery into 1/8-1/4 inch cubes. If the leaves look good, consider mincing them and adding them to the dish. They add a great celery flavor.
    1 Stalk Celery
  • Open and drain the tuna. Break the tuna into small piece with a fork. The smaller the better.
    10-12 Oz. Canned Tuna
  • Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl.
1/4 C Mayonnaise, 2 Tbsp Minced Onion, 1 Tbsp Minced Pickle or Relish, 1/4 tsp Salt, 2 Pinches Ground Black Pepper, 1 Squeeze Lemon
  • You can serve the mix (salad) right away, but I like to let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to marry the flavors. 30 is preferred.
  • Serve with salad, on crackers or in a sandwich.
